Student Placement

Paige joined MET Phys as a fourth-year Occupational Therapy student.

After completing school, she decided to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy, starting her studies three years later. What she loves about Occupational Therapy is the wide range of fields it offers and the opportunity to support individuals in all aspects of life.

Her immense passion lies in working with children, witnessing their growth and helping them achieve their full potential during crucial developmental years. Seeing children succeed in areas such as toilet training, self-care, community access, play skills development, and the improvement of their fine and gross motor skills brings her great joy. Simply witnessing a child’s smile and laughter each day has had a positive impact on her as she prepares to enter the professional world.

Becoming an Occupational Therapist and working with children has been a significant highlight in Paige’s life. She aspires to continue growing both personally and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, providing support to children and their families, particularly within rural and remote communities.
