Ruby is in her final year (4th year) of studying Clinical Exercise Physiology at the University of Queensland. When she joined MET Phys, she already possessed her Cert III & IV in Fitness. Additionally, she holds an up-to-date First Aid and CPR Certificate, as well as a Blue Card.

Ruby chose to pursue Clinical Exercise Physiology because she finds immense satisfaction in helping individuals achieve their goals and enhance their health and quality of life through incorporating physical activity and exercise into their daily routines. This is particularly evident during the global pandemic we find ourselves in, as physical activity not only improves mood and overall well-being but also plays a vital role in enhancing overall quality of life.

Ruby takes joy in witnessing individuals engage in physical activity because they genuinely enjoy it, rather than viewing it as a chore. Another reason why she is passionate about her work is that she finds it fascinating how exercise can ameliorate symptoms and side effects of chronic diseases, making the journey extremely rewarding.
