Exercise Therapy
Exercise Therapy also known as Exercise Physiology, helps individuals living with chronic conditions live better through the treatment of exercise prescription using evidence-based research. Our team are all professionally AEP’s (Accredited Exercise Physiologists) trained to deliver a safe and effective exercise program to match your goals.
Exercise Physiology is the science of using anatomy and physiology in combination with other behaviour change techniques to reach the goals that they want to be able to achieve. This can be both physically or mentally. Exercise or movement is the primary modality used to assist in treating a range of conditions

Our MET Phys Speech Therapist is a university trained health practitioner.
Speech Pathology
Speech Pathologists work to assess, diagnose and provide therapy for communication and swallowing difficulties.
Our Speech Pathologist will collaborate with you to identify your needs and set goals for therapy.
WHO IS SPEECH PATHOLOGY SUITABLE FOR?
Speech Pathologists commonly see clients with disorders such as ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, traumatic brain injury, speech disorders and individuals who have had strokes.
A Speech Pathologist can work with children who have difficulties in:
- Reading and writing
- Understanding others
- Following directions
- Pronouncing speech sounds and words
- Expressing themselves
- Social skills
A Speech Pathologist can work with adults who have difficulties in:
- Engaging in conversations
- Finding the right words to say
- Eating and drinking safely
Group Classes
Our group sessions aim to provide clients with a sense of belonging and companionship. Each session is approximately 45 minutes in duration and varies to suit the fitness and capability levels of the class. Offered on all days of the week from Monday – Friday.

what to know before booking a class
While we would love to have as many people join our classes, bookings are essential and are maxed out at 8 participants per class. This not only helps our team ensure each individual is supported in class, but provides a clean and safe environment for all to enjoy.
New to MET Phys? Firstly welcome, we can’t wait to start this journey with you. However, before we can book you into one of our classes, you must have a pre-screening before attending. This will tell us which areas to focus on and which exercises to avoid.
