what to know before booking a class

While we would love to have as many people join our classes, bookings are essential and are maxed out at 4 participants per class. This not only helps our team ensure each individual is supported in class, but provides a clean and safe environment for all to enjoy.

New to MET Phys? Firstly welcome, we can’t wait to start this journey with you. However, before we can book you into one of our classes, you must have a pre-screening before attending. This will tell us which areas to focus on and which exercises to avoid.

If at anytime you don’t feel comfortable, please let one of our team know.

You can book in for an initial screening on 07 4599 3165.

Please wear something comfortable, free of buckles, belts or anything that might damage the upholstery? Tights or shorts, with a singlet or loose fitting t-shirt are all great options.

Do I need socks?

For hygiene and safety, all participants must wear grips socks. If you have a pair, please bring them from home. We also have grip socks available for purchase in clinic. Please note, no socks = no class.

Please bring a water bottle, socks and a towel.

Towels are essential and must be placed on equipment while in use. All equipment is cleaned after each session and is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. Please note, no towel = no class. If you have forgotten your towel there are towels available to purchase in clinic.

Pilates mats aren’t essential but are a great option, we have mats available for purchase at the clinic.

All our classes are supervised by a fully qualified Physiotherapist.

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to each class. If you arrive late to a session, you are more than welcome to complete as much of your program as possible in the time remaining. The session will be charged at the standard rate.
