My Health For Life in 2022

MET Phys has been an accredited facilitator for the My Health for Life program for over 3 years. The program is offered face-to-face or via zoom with one of our facilitators. My Health for Life is open to any eligible individual who is ready to make a positive lifestyle change. Find out more and when the next program starts.

We are really excited to start offering the new program which comes with new books we have the workbook and the well-being book. We really love that we are able to offer the flexibility of weekly one hour sessions for eight weeks as well. Prior to this, it was two hours every fortnight over eight weeks.

The most exciting thing which I am looking forward to in my health life program this year is that we are able to chop and change the program in alignment with the needs of the group. This means that we don’t have to present on dietary guidelines, exercise, smoking and alcohol. We can choose to focus on dietary guidelines, healthy eating habits, food labels and much more dietary-related information or we could cover all things exercise or we can cover stress on coping there is so much more scope that we are able to address in the six-month program.

When we decide to make a change in our behaviours it’s not something which we can usually do on our own, most of us need a friend or a wide range of support and that’s what I really love about My health life program. We get to encourage, empower and enhance the lives of each and every one of our My health for life group members. This week was our first week and we can’t wait to see what the next six months brings.
