Michael Wilson is a Level 1 Registered Counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). He holds a Diploma of Counselling and an Undergraduate Certificate in Mental Health.

Living with ADHD himself, Michael brings both professional training and lived experience to his practice. He understands the challenges that can come with ADHD, as well as the unique strengths it can offer, and is passionate about helping others find ways to thrive. He also works with individuals on the Autism Spectrum (ASD), supporting them to build confidence and develop strategies that fit their world.

Michael has a strong interest in supporting families and carers of people with ADHD, helping them better understand neurodiversity and build stronger, more supportive relationships. As a therapist with lived experience, he offers a practical and meaningful perspective that bridges both the personal and professional.

In addition, he supports people experiencing general anxiety by providing coping tools and strategies to reduce stress and improve daily life. He takes a neuro-affirming approach, valuing the individuality and strengths of every person.

Michael’s diverse background—including the military, firefighting, aviation, and flight simulation—gives him a broad base of life experience to draw on, allowing him to connect with people from many walks of life.

He is committed to walking alongside individuals navigating ADHD, ASD, anxiety, or life’s challenges, offering support that is both understanding and empowering.
