The My Health for life program is all about feeling good and enjoying the benefits of a healthier life. We support everyday Queenslander to set a realistic health goals and empower them with the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to improve their wellbeing. It’s about making healthy choice part of everyday life.

We have seen many health benefits of the people who have chosen to complete the My Health for life program with us at the clinic. We had nearly finished one of our six month programs that we’ve been running in the new model of eight face-to-face sessions within a small group environment followed by one session four weeks later and they are now going on their two month break before they talk with a qualified coach through the My Health for life program. We’ve seen some great improvements in decreasing stress, improving food and portion control as well as decreasing weight and improving sleep.

Across the entire Queensland run My Health for life program that has been proven success in the 14,000 plus Queenslander who have joined the program. 96% of participants have rated the program, support materials and information as excellent. 17% of participants have reduced their waistline, and 99% of participants agree that the program is positive.

The My Health for life program is a free Queensland government funded program which is no contracts, no fuss. You can try for as many sessions as you like and if you have a hiccup or decide for you that it’s not what you were looking for, there is no refund required and no commitment to continue with the program. The My Health for life philosophy program provides options, such as group sessions, private telephone health coaching, video conferencing, in-language programs, and workplace programs.

Currently, we are going to be running full face-to-face programs. One starting on Monday, the 14th of June from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm followed by a Thursday afternoon session from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, and a Tuesday session starting in July from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm in Oakey. These sessions are all week-to-week sessions and we will follow the six-month week-to-week format. We are also running a fortnightly two-hour-long My Health for life session which will start on the 18th of June and run from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

The My Health for life program will help with the education, guidance, tools, and support that you need to live a healthy life. Whether it’s eating well, moving more, maintaining a healthy weight, sleeping better, or managing stress, our free healthy lifestyle program will support you to achieve your goals.
